Best Power Pop Albums of 2025
It’s that time of year – time for the Power Pop News best albums of 2025 list. There were some great unexpected surprises from lesser known artists such as The Gnomes or Sharp Pins. There were also as a few killer power pop albums from some long time power pop stalwarts like The Spongetones and Dom Mariani. All in all, it was a pretty healthy year for the genre. So here goes…our top 20 power pop albums (and EPs) of 2025:

Rumble Strip’s main songwriters are myself and Dave Nachmanoff, a long time Al Stewart collaborator and world class guitarist. It’s more on the Americana side of the street but you may just enjoy it.
