Richard Turgeon – Campfire Songs

The prolific Mr. Turgeon has a new release out, an EP entitled Campfire Songs. As with past releases, this collection features Richard’s hallmark, layered guitar work on which hang his always thought provoking words and catchy melodies.

With it’s memorable chorus and guitar crunch, “Line of Sight” packs a wallop. “Goodbye to Summer” is straight ahead power pop while “Promised Land” has a bit of a southern rock flavor to it. All six tracks on Campfire Songs feature Richard’s incredible guitar paintings and honest lyrical work.

If you haven’t heard his past full length efforts, any and all are recommended. Start with Go Deep (my favorite) or last year’s Sea Change, another winner. Or go straight to Kool Kat Musik and pick up Campfire Songs. Whichever you choose, you won’t be disappointed.
