Rumble Strip – Let’s Roll & More

This is not a review. It’s a press release, albeit alittle late. Dave Nachmanoff (Al Stewart/solo) and yours truly released an EP of songs earlier this year. Best described as Americana/folk with a nod to Fountains of Wayne, Rumble Strip’s Let’s Roll has garnered some excellent reviews.

Let’s Roll consists of 5 songs Dave and I had written together. Stylistically, it runs the gamut from power pop to folk to rockabilly. “Checkin’ Out”, “He Talks To Me”, and “Adam West” have received considerable airplay. You may have heard them on any of several SiriusXM radio shows as well as traditional radio and podcasts throughout the US and the UK.

A Tribute to John Wicks

2019 saw the release of a very personal album.  For The Records: A Tribute to John Wicks was released in honor of the late, great John Wicks with proceeds given to his surviving family and The American Cancer Society. I was lucky enough to have co-written many of the album’s song’s with John.

Several high profile friends stepped up to honor John with performances on For The Record. Among them are platinum selling recording artist Al Stewart, multiple Grammy nominee Peter Case, the brilliant guitar of Dave Nachmanoff, Manfred Mann’s Chris Thompson, the ever suave Don Dixon and more. Power pop icon Jamie Hoover performed as well as having masterfully produced the album.
