Own a Rock Star’s 57 Les Paul Guitar

Own a Rock Star’s 57 Les Paul Guitar

I saw him play it at Syracuse University in 1979. You may have seen him play his 57 Les Paul Jr and sing “Starry Eyes” with his band, The Records, on rock music’s greatest late night stage, Midnight Special.

John Wicks’ 57 Les Paul Jr. is for sale. And directly from the original owner, Mr. Wicks himself. Here’s the specifics as I understand them:

Model: GIBSON LES PAUL JUNIOR
Sunburst, single P90 pick-up.
Year: 1957
Doesn’t have the original bridge or tuning pegs.

Check out the pics. As you can see, it appears to be in very good shape for a vintage guitar that old. He expects to get around 10K for it, from what I’m told.

If you’re interested in purchasing this beauty, you can reach John Wicks directly by clicking right here.. If the link doesn’t work for any reason, feel free to email me at [email protected] and I will forward your info. Just include “vintage Les Paul” in the subject line.

Now if I only had 10K lying around…..

Check out this vid of John and the Records on Midnight Special. While you’re doing that I’ll be digging up that shoe-box I buried in my back yard, checking under the mattress, looking between the couch cushions, collecting returnable bottles….
